Mark's Story
Serves as Chief of Science, Education and Special Projects for Drug Free Sport International, a 20-year-old business specializing in anti-doping testing for the premier sports associations in the U.S. with clients worldwide. Mark has been with DFSI for 13 years. He also spent eight years working at the NCAA headquarters in Indianapolis directing some of the NCAA's 84-national championship events. were at North Carolina State University working in the Sports Information Office and as Assistant to the AD. He graduated from Defiance College (B.S. in Communications) in 1981 and earned his masters in communication arts from Auburn University in 1983. He and his wife Dawne (Hathaway) will celebrate their 40th anniversary in 2021 and they have two adult children - Jason (and Lisa) Bockelman (Denver) and Anna (and Eddie) Shei (Indianapolis.)
