Thanksgiving Day 2020
I don't view this site often but will try and update it more often than in the past.
First I will say HAPPY THANKSGIVING TO ALL!!!
At this moment I am watching the Washington Football Club battle against Dallas! I myself am battling Metastatic Leiomyosarcoma. A few years ago my oncologists told me I had 6 months to go but I am still here. Ha! Enough on that.
Let's see... What else is new. My youngest expects to graduate from undergraduate school in May. Her two older sisters are iving their lives, working, teaching, earning advanced degrees and professional achievement. Since they are young women (Mid 30's and late 20's) I am not allowed to share much about them. As a father I don't know much anyway. I find it amazing that I now have three more mothers in life! When I first say my middle child argue with/yell at my wife at the age of 6 months while being unable to talk yet I was astounded! To see a 35 year old woman argue with this young child was a new and different thing for me. "You aren't the mother. I am the mother! You don't tell me what to do. I tell you what to do!" quite common place having watched young mothers argue with their pre-language daughters though the decades. I should say watching mothers and melinnial daughters at all ages argue has been fascinating. I guess I spent too much time at sea and in other countries.
What else can I tell you. I've been in Las Vegas for the past 5 years. Thinking of spending some time in Florida before the place is under water. I'm waiting on Rodney Watts or Joe Daniels to let me know when they are ready to go. After all I will need someone checking in on me!

Life
My wife and I have raised one grown daughter and are still raising her two younger sisters, ages 10 and 6. For the most part I have been living in Southern California since I joined the Navy in 1985. I have had tours of duty in Virgina, Rhode Island, Silver Spring MD, and Japan while serving. Most of my sea tours have been in San Diego so I have maintained my residence in Murrieta CA which is roughly 70 miles NE. Both LA and Palm Springs are little more than a one hour drive.
