Mark's Story
Hi everyone, some of you may remember that I didn't actually graduate with everyone in '85. Our senior year I moved to Arlington, TX and graduated from a high school up there. Atferward, I moved back to El Paso and went to UTEP for a few semesters and then I joined the Air Force, got stationed in CA for four years. In the meantime, I was deployed to the Middle East for Desert Storm came back and then moved to AZ. Reserves and after 9/11 got sent back over to the Middle East, came back in one piece to continue my career as a police officer. I'm divorced, but I have two wonderful kids. I like to road bike and run races, usually 5k's but every now and then I'll run a half marathon. No full marathons for me tho, those guys are crazy! I have my Mater's degree and hope to teach at the university level after I retire from law enforcement...but who knows when that will be?
