Mark's Story
I left Rialto in the middle of 1968 when my father was transfered to Duluth Minnesota with the Air Force. I turned 17 July the 8th of that year and enlisted in the Army leaving Oct. 10th to Ft. Campbell, Ky. for basic traing. From there I went to Ft. Leonardwood, Mo., Ft. Knox, Ky., Ft. Benning, Ga.,Ft. Snelling, Mn., Ft. Carson, Co., Ft. Lewis, Wa. and finally off to South East Asia during 1970 and 71. Upon my return and discharge I traveled with another Vietnam Vet named Daniel Otto (a missionary in Nam), hung out in San Berdoo for a while then jumped on my Harley and moved to Boulder City, Nv. where I live today. I rode with the Vietnam Vets M/C over 20 years, was married, had 5 daughters and have 11 grand kids. My Mom, Dad and brother Gregory have all passed on to a better place. I restore old Cushmans, Maytag engines, Pachinko Ball machines and like flying radio controlled airplanes. I have 4 Chi-hua-huas, ...Expand for more
