Mark's Story
I went to college at Cornell University where I majored in Applied Economics and Business Management, played baseball and was a member of Lambda Chi Alpha Fratenity. After working in NYC for 6 months after college i decided to move to Houston in late 1982 for a job offer I had received while at Cornell. That did not work out, but I stayed in Houston where my career with Hershey Chocolate launched. Yes, I sold Kisses for a living! I had a great career, lived in Houston, Little Rock, Phoenix, Hershey(2x), Chicago, San Francisco, and Atlanta(2x). Along the way met my wife and had two great boys who were born while in Chicago. ster Polytechnic Institute in MA and he plays baseball. My youngest just started locally at a junior college. He played hockey for 10 years.
After my wide passed away in 2007, I left Hershey to raise my boys and run a resturaunt we owned at the time. Closed it in Summer 2009. For the past three years have been helping to build and grow a smaller company in the medical supplies business. After working in the corporate world for 25+ years, this is very entrepreneurial and a lot of fun! I spend some of my time traveling to watch my oldest play college ball and while nerve racking at times ( he is a pitcher), is a lot of fun and very rewarding.
