Life
Hi there. Remember me... kinda bookish but a nice guy and easy to talk to. A few years after SRHS I took a trip out to Dallas, TX to visit a friend for the summer. Somehow, that trip turned into 13 years, marriage, a child, divorce and you know... life goes on after you learn a few things about yourself.
During the divorce, I backpacked through Central America for two months with an old friend. We climbed many Mayan ruins, rode many many chicken-buses, met lots of really cool and interesting people, drank lots and lots of beer and just had a great time. New attitude if you will. as my next-door neighbor. A few years later, here we are - very happily married and raising a family. The American Dream... well, one version at least.
So... what's your dream? What's important to you. Are you working every day to achieve it?
For me it turns out family and friends are the glue of life. I'm happy and it's great to be able to smile every morning when I get up knowing that things are movin' in the right direction. Kind of sappy I guess but hey, we all gotta figure it out for ourselves.
