Mark's Story
Life
After graduating from EHS, I spent 4 years completing a
2 year program at College of the Redwoods. I worked off and on at local lumbar mills and drove lumber truck for a couple of years. I went to South America for 3 months in
78'-79' after being disenchanted with education and wanting to shake up my life. I had many wonderful adventures although I got dysentery several times and returned home 25 lbs lighter. I moved to Dana Point in 79' and my cousin got me work in a hospital. His wife is a RN and convinced me to go back to school to become an RN. I graduated from SDSU in 84' with a BSN. I served in the USAF from 85-8...Expand for more
8' and was stationed at Travis AFB. I met my wife there and we were married in Lake Tahoe in 88'. As a side note, I saw Ann
Kramer ( from EHS ) at Travis, she was a nursing student.
I have been a working nurse now for 19 years, I have 2 great kids- a boy and a girl- that live with me. Unfortunately, my wife and I separated in 01' but remain amicable with each other.
That is my life in a nutshell. I turn 50 this September 03' and plan to buy a Harley for myself. When my kids are off to college I plan to make a long cross-country trek on it--fulfilling a desire I've had since I left EHS.
