Marla's Story

Life Life is really great! I'm still here in El Segundo,mom of 4 boys! 2 in college and two at home! I run everyday still although not competively anymore..I'm working at The World Trade Center in Los Angeles. Usually in the Summer, I'm roller blading on the bikepath or running on the beach. Hoping to reconnect with classmates.. School In High School, I was so very shy and if I could re-live my high school days again, I'd probably have more friends because I'd be more outgoing. College in 1980 and majored in Nursing and at the same time qualified for the ECC Cross Country team..The training for the team, was so intense and rigorous, that it was tough to study afterwards, especially during Finals. Also 1980/1981 I competed in 2 marathons and placed 4th overall in the Los Angeles PRO-AM Marathon..then attended UCLA for 1 year studying ART/Advertising, but the competition of the artists, blew me away. The students were phenominal and so I decided to go into the work force from there..
