Life After graduating from Mathis High school in 1982, I attended Bee County College and graduated with an Associate Degree in Drafting and Design in 1984. Shortly after graduation, I moved Corpus Christi, Texas and spent the next 12 years of my life. During this time I married my first husband in 1986, had my two beautiful children and then the marriage ended with a divorce in 1993... On Jan. 29, 1995, I married my second husband and moved to Rayne, LA, back to my roots.. On July 25, 1997, my second husband passed away with cancer due to agent orange.. After this time, I began to realize that Louisiana was not my home.. maybe my roots, but not where my heart was... I am now back in Corpus Christi, Texas since Oct. 23, 2003. At the age of 44, I am now obtaining my life long dream of an education and career in Forensics/Investigating. I am honored and blessed to have two wonderful children; a daughter who will turn 21 in April who has moved back to Louisiana. She is in her 3rd of college and attending McNeese State University. I have a son age 16 who is a junior in high school and is an A honor roll student (top 5 of his class of 238). I have one step son who lives in Louisiana. He and his wife have two sons who always know the way to "Meme's" heart. I am very proud of all 3 of them for being such loving and compassionate people and for making such a positive difference in this world.
