Marla's Story
I was the oldest Thatcher girl, the one who got pregnant in 9th grade. The one who fell in love with the boy next door, and ran away to get married and have a family. We had 3 little ones by the time I was 20 years old. Our twin boys who will be 38 years old and our daughter who is now 33 years old. And now at 53 we have added 5 Grandchildren to our family, I was a Granny at 37, can you imagine that.. There hasn't been a day in my life that hasn't had a child in it, weather my own, baby sitting children from my day care, neighborhood kids or friend of my children and now gran...Expand for more
d-kids and I wouldn't have it any other way. A life of children surrounding my heart is how it was always meant to be for me. We will be married 39 years this coming Dec. And are looking forward to the next 100 years or more together HAHAHA. We beat the odds then and are still doing it today. I always wanted to be a wife and mother with a play ground full of kids when I grew up. My family and friends thought that was a crazy idea. As it turns out, they were wrong because girls in those days could grow up to be what ever they wanted and being a wife and mother as I have done.
