Marlene's Story
Nov. 2016 - Lots of things have changed since this post 7 years ago. Suffice to say that my heart & my soul has finally taught me how to make the hard choices I needed to be able to breathe again. If you want to know more, then message me and we'll chat over a cup of chai or glass of malbec!
Life (in general)

Oct. 2008 Update; So after taking about a year off work (haha-just no paycheck!), I started back in May 2008 working for a non-profit endeavor. WAY different from the last 20 years of my work life. Our home is about 85% where we want it to be. Gotta save up for the rest of it now.
My friend Kevin is back home with his family, for now, until the Army deploys him again. We pray for his and all our troops safety.
This is about the time of year I reminisce about college and friends & 'family' from Coles County, IL.
...funny how easily we lose touch, but always keep the memories. Anyone out there???
Sept. 2007 Update WOW...I get to be semi-retired and taking on the role of project manager while we work on remodeling & new construction on our home. Been in the Seattle area for about 8 years now - those of you who know my brother Tony- he's been here over 25 years. Anyone coming out to the Seattle area are welcome to visit and get the tour from an 'almost local' viewpoint.
Our 5 yr.old grandson just started school and reminding me how not-so-smart I am! Love to hear from folks...
