Hubby had more heart problems last yr so our trip "down under" was rescheduled for March and April this yr. Everything a go and this will probably be our last big trip.
5/15
We did 7 wks in AU, planned for 8 1/2 to include 6 wks AU and 2 wks New Zealand. 5 nites in Brisbane turned into 16. Hubby had heart problems and hospital stays. Have friends in Brisbane so I wasn't left alone. Staying in the CBD made transportation so easy and also walkable to nearby restaurants and shopping. New Zealand and Sydney were cancelled.

lems and Nov and Dec were not fun. In Aug went to reunion on Sat and really didn't mingle for my sister passed away the day before. Family insisted I attend the dinner. Sat at an empty table and lo and behold Steve Bond and Ward Smalley sat down. Steve and I were neighbors belonged to JR NRA together and Ward was stationed on Guam previous to Bill and I living there. Who knew about Guam back then? I wish there had been a memory book as there was for the 25th for I have lived out of state and country since 1966 and am not current with local news. Sad to see the memory board and could only say a prayer not knowing why their names were on there. I hope this year brings peace and health to all who read this and finances wouldn't hurt either.

Bill passed away end of June. Heart disease no Covid-19. We had 54 years together plus the 6 wks we knew each other before the marriage. I volunteer via Foundation for Senior Living trying to keep busy. It has been a very hot summer here, 1" of rain. My citrus trees have suffered and the pink grapefruit was directly blasted by the sun and died. Not the only tree in the Valley to die. Hopefully the reunion will go off as planned in '21.
9/22
Joined Crossfit 7/21 and this yr 100 # Deadlift did me in. So after hosp, rehab and PT I am back at Crossfit and starting all over again. No more deadlifts and limited barbell. Dumbbells and kettle bells for wts.
