Marline's Story
During my working years, I struggled to find work that fit who I was as a person, and what I valued, and to earn a living at it. Although I didn't make a lot of money, I did find a satisfying career. However, I am now enjoying this next journey...retirement. Living in Manhattan allows me so many opportunities to explore my interests, and for now, I am focused on photography. This includes taking classes, learning my digital cameras, and this week, finally starting sessions in photoshop. Many of my friends have photos that I've taken hanging on their walls. They also have scrapbooks that I've made of various trips we've taken together.

as off-broadway plays. I am fortunate to have wonderful friendships, many of whom I've had for over 30 years, and am developing new friendship from people I meet at my health club.
I don't dance as often as I used to, which I miss. I enjoy the computer. People still surprise me...in a good way and I value courage when I see it.
Since I wrote this, I have learned a lot about Photoshop (a program that edits photographs). I'm also going to start making different kinds of books from what I have been making. I met a new friend and we've been exchanging knowledge about these kinds of things. I've come a long way from when I got my first digital camera (am on my 3rd) and continue to be excited by this creative outlet.
