Marnie's Story
I always wanted to be a writer when I grew up. My family and friends thought that was a great idea. As it turns out, they were right.
My favorite way to relax is to take my dogs to the beach. Just over a year ago, I lost my beautiful 15 year old shepherd, Sage. After 14 years together, he passed away in my arms. I miss him immensely. I now only have one dog, my little shitzu named Sophie, who also thinks she is a shepherd. She was brought up by Sage, and no one has ever told her that she is a small dog. r were a constant source of amusement for me, they were such an odd couple. Sophie is still pretty funny on her own, and has a stuffed bunny that she likes to have her way with. We still go to the beach a lot, as we live very close. But it is not the same without Sage. We both miss him greatly, but he continues to live on in spirit, and I am amazed how that is constantly reflected to me, in the actions of little Sophie, the fearless one.
