Marsha's Story

Life After half a century I have succeeded at having a loving husband, two wonderful spoiled rotten children and a job that lacks description. Yes I received my Masters in Nursing in 1993, married in 1992, and adopted two blonde haried blue eyed beutiful children in 2003. Yes I am crazy. We live in a small rural town of about 300 and the nearest city is 1 1/2 hours away. I still love to be around others but in healthy and family environments. My mother and sister live close and help with the children. My brother still lives close to Memphis and has 2 grown boys with three grandchildren. The year I got married I had a bad wreck and am lucky to be alive. I was hit head own by a 1975 FOrd LTD it knocked my car back 24 ...Expand for more
feet. The poeple in the other care were not hurt but I moved the stering wheel into the dash with my chest. Yes six broke ribs, a clasped lung, a broken arm, and a fractured and dislocated hip were all the injuries I got. Then in 2005 I came down with a severe infection, spent 8 days in the ICU and another 5 in the regular hospital. I didn't know where I was or what happened for 8 days. We still don't know what caused it. The children are growing Brandon is 8 years old and loves to play outside and ride his bicycle. Katelyn now 7 is a mommas girl, every where I go she goes. She was in a beauty pagent last fall but didn't win but it's like she says "everybody can't win and it don't matter as long as you love God."
