Marsha's Story
I found that after the death of my husband, Bill Becker, GWHS '61, I am trying to find out who I am. After 41 yrs. of marriage, It is a tall order, but I am getting closer to finding out!
I would eventually like to find a mate to go to dinner, a movie and to just have a nice conversation with. I miss that more than anything.
I do find being a grandmother or rather a "Mimi" very fulfilling to my 6 granchildren - ages 4 mos. to 6 yrs. They keep me going strong. But they wear mE out so I don't do it as often as I use too!
I've said enough so I'm waiting for some of my old friends to write back and let me know what's going on in their lives.
I love reading, crosswords and other puzzles, movie...Expand for more
s, dining out, some golf, going to pro basketball &/or hockey games (whenever the occasion arises),socializing, and music.
I would love for my friends to remember me as a caring and loving friend and confidant. I like to laugh and enjoy good jokes. I'm a loyal friend and not that great of a cook (even tho I've heard different) -it's just I don't do much of that anymore!
Gosh, it reads like I am putting in an ad for a great puppy!!! - Anyway, enough said I would love all my old GWHS mates to contact me.
I guess the one person from my past I'd most like to see again is Benny
Cook, who grad. in '59 - I think. Also Denny Troth who was a great friend and I didn't realise it at the time.
Bye
