Believe it or not, I still live in Merrick! I've been married for 38 years, and have two grown children who, just like us, made their way through the Merrick school system (and lived to tell about it). I have a 4-year-old grandson and an (almost) 2-year-old granddaughter. I earned a degree in Early Childhood Education from Queens College, although I never worked full time as a teacher. get a teaching job?)After my run as a full-time mom, I worked full time for the (Director)family business--but my "fun" job is working for General Hospital star Wally Kurth (he played "Ned Ashton"). We've been friends for 21 years and I take care of his fan club for him, as well as serve on the Board of Directors for his charity foundation dedicated to children's charities. I own an invitation / party planning business! Who needs free time? It's so overrated!
