Life
Living in Madison, WI since 1968, except for 1.5 years on an island off the coast of Georgia. Attended UW-Madison (B.S. in Ag. Journalism).
Retired in 2005 from Dept. of Rural Sociology, UW-Madison with the North American Land Tenure Program - helping residents with land-related issues in minority communities across the US. Until 2011 worked part-time at Madison Audubon Society, managing a US Fish & Wildlife Svc. grant for wetlands/uplands acquisition and restoration.

lso dabble a bit with gardening. During 2018 I put together and had printed an illustrated family history based on my grandmother's photo collection which covered 1887-1976. Had to miss the 2019 reunion of AHS Class of '64 because of a cancerous tumor on my lower spine. "Lurch" the tumor caused all sorts of trouble, especially when walking up stairs. So, in Feb. 2020 we purchased a single-floor 2nd floor condo with underground parking + elevator, then sold our 100-year old Craftsman bungalow where we had lived for 30 years. We still hope to make a trip to Colorado & Wyoming.
