Marsha's Story

I haven't been in much of a communication mode since my son, Sean Williams, passed in January 2011 but I have continued to work and perform. I've been a Tommy Tune Awards judge with Theater Under the Stars since the awards inception and really enjoy seeing all of the talent in the hgh school musicals. Haven't been on any tours since my health hit me but I will always cherish memories of performing with Madeline Kahn, John Schuck, Anthony Newley, Virginia Mayo, Maxene Andrews (Andrews Sisters), Bob Hope, Juliet Prowse, Johnny Cash and so many more. I've been blessed by having the opportunity to share the stage with the cream of the entertainment crop and I learned so much from them. I'm still big, bold and brassy. After always having a full house with either the kids, grandkids or great-grandkids it's been diffiuclt to adjust living alone. Days are busy with SCI in Houston/Bank Reconciliation and nights... singing at special engagements. With the holidays looming close, I have a hard calendar commitment. But, I love it. Lost my year book to Hurricane Ike and would really love to get another 1967. If anyone has info, please let me know. Still love to read and I admit to being a movie addict. SciFi, fantasy, documentaries, Bond (James) & Bourne... enjoy it all. Can't wait to see the ...Expand for more
Hobbit. Still twirling to keep my fingers nimble and shock the audience. Health has been a real struggle. Damn It's hard getting old and I lost the life manual with the instructions on how to live. Just winging it. Think of La Porte and all my friends through the years. Missing everyone! Where's Jimmy Long? I know David Salge moved to Washington state but I lost track of him??? Still keeping in touch with Debbie Offenhauser and Paula Rizzuto. Would love to hear from classmates, so please write when you can. I've lived my life taking chances. I don't want to look back and say "I wish I would have______". I've always related to the following: Each of us has a bank named TIME... Every morning, it credits us with 86,400 seconds Every night it writes off as lost, whatever of this you have failed to invest to a good purpose. It carries over no balance. It allows no over draft. Each day it opens a new account for you and each night it burns the remains of the day. If you fail to use the day's deposits, the loss is yours. There is no drawing against "tomorrow". You must live in the present. Invest your time deposit so as to get from it the utmost in health, happines and sucess! The clock is running! Make the most of today. Sending love and postive thoughts to you and your family.
