Life
Married at 36
first and only child born at 38 (Jacob Paul)
divorced at 40
Should of married my sweetheart from Plattsburgh (stayed 2gether 3 & 1/2 years) but I was young and not ready, we still talk though she's AMAZING
Worked in Higher Education as an Residence Director at Mary Washington College, SUNY at New Paltz, Syracuse University and Richard Stockton College of NJ. Was honored to be the Spring 1998 Distinguished Alumni Speaker and returned to SUNY Pburgh to speak to the students/staff. Left Higher Educ. 95' to return to my true calling... the classroom. Taught 4/5th grade in Stamford, CT for 4 years. Moved to Special Education the last 2 years and have been teaching 8 grade language arts for Special Education in Arlington,VA for the past 6 years. ore I moved to VA. Will teach until central office beckons! I am an asst. track coach at the prestigious TC Williams(yes the "Remember the Titans" one)HS in Alexandria, VA for indoor and outdoor which is great to be back coaching. I have a great relationship with my son who lives with my ex-wife but I spend quality time with him (unfortunately he's cursed with my big head though LOL, fille with brains though!!). I miss the comraderie of the Plattsburgh Track team although we weren't always the most "savory" of characters in retrospect. Pburgh was all THAT!!! If anyone ever sees Kathy (Bucky) Flaherty please tell her hi! PHS
