Martha's Story
Moved to Peterborough in 1975 to go to Trent, and never left. Graduated 1981, B.A. in Cultural Studies.
Married my first husband, Bill Kimball, in 1981 to secure his Landed Immigrant status. It worked. We are still together. We are delighted to report we have no children at all. The 15 nieces and nephews are more our style.

a recipe tester and food writer. I still make clothes for people, and I am chronically working on a line of tops, skirts and quilts made from vintage materials.
Billy and I bought an old house 10 years ago in downtown Peterborough, and we love it. I am one of the Sisters of Perpetual Redecoration.
I spend a lot of time hanging out with friends, drinking red wine, yelling, smoking, and going to plays and dance performances.
