I moved to the DC area in the summer of 1963 and to Albany, NY in late 1964. Stayed in the Albany area until 1972 when I returned to Hampton due to my mother's health. As an only child I felt it to be my responsibility to come back home when my folks needed me; after all, they took care of me when I needed it. My husband is from NY although we met and married here. We have three children, one girl and two boys, and four grandchildren. Our youngest son hasn't married yet, so who knows how big our little family will become. My husband and I own and operate an independent insurance agency in Hampton. We enjoy working together and probably won't retire for some years to come. We enjoy travel, especially via cruise ship. We spent a lot of time sailing our beloved Soverel 37 until five years ago when my husband suffered a heart attack and two strokes.
