Martin's Story

Catch 'em up on what you've done and who you are.I was born and raised a catholic in Syracuse, NY. I entered the Navy in 1976 as an Electronics technician. I was in the Phillipines for my first duty station. I served on tywo ships after that, both 7th fleet flag ships, the Oklahoma City CG-5 which was the last of the talos missle systems which was decommissioned in 1981. I trasferred to the Blue Ridge LCC-19 which was a landing craft communications ship often used by the commadant of the marine corpse. after that I was stationed at the ColtsNeck Naval weapons Station at Colts Neck, NJ. When I finished my Naval Career I landed a Government job for the US Army at the Telecommunications Station in Syracuse, NY. It closed in December of 2000. the one in FT Detrick MD but had to turn it down as my ex and I were in a custody battle. Oh yea I was married to the women I met while at the Great Lakes Naval Training Center where I attended BEE and Radar school. WE were married December 23rd 1986. I have five children and a step daughter who is actually mine as I raised her since she was four. I am now in Jeffersonville, IN just across from Louisville, KY. I competed a Network Engineer school for windows 2000 and have two MCP's for professional and server. I am actually 24 credits shy of my Bachelors degree in IT or BSIT at the University of Phoenix. I am currently working at refurbishing cell phones. But always looking to get back with the federal government. Of my kids I have one son and all the rest are girls.
