Marty's Story
Life
Over the past 25 years I have lived in 7 or 8 states. I still haven't learned that "The grass is NOT always greener on the other side", it just appears that way. I have visited some wonderful places and met some wonderful people. I am fortunate to be able to claim friends in all parts of the country. It's a nice perk when your on a cheap vacation!
I lived in Indiana and Georgia (Atlanta) for a short while after graduation but found myself back in Smyrna in the late 1980s. I left Smyrna for good in 1994. I miss it sometimes but not enough to move ba...Expand for more
ck. I have since lived in Oklahoma (OKC), Seattle Washington, Dallas Texas, Akron Ohio and am now back in Atlanta.
I met a beautiful lady in Ohio back in '94 and we married in '97. Our first child Jax, was born August of 2000 in Dallas, TX. In July of 2004, we had our 2nd and 3rd children, Jacob and Julianna - twins. What fun.
In September of 2006, I became a grandfather for the 1st time. My oldest daughter, Bionca, gave birth to a baby girl, Evyn.
I suspect that Atlanta is NOT my final resting spot. I feel the need for an even warmer climate.
