Mary Helen's Story
I still live in El Paso, Texas. I am married. My schools, include 8 years at St. Joseph 1 year at Austin High School, and 2 years at El Paso High.
I have worked over 26 years at YISD, 21 years in Related Services, providing services for students and their families with Autism. I am blessed with 2 sons and 6 grandkids. I have 2 grandsons and 4 beautiful granddaughters. As this school year is coming to an end, I have come to believe that each of us has a personal calling that's as unique as a finger print- and that the best way to succeed is to discover, what you love and then find a way to offer it to others in the form of service, working hard and also allowing the energy of the universe to lead you!!. arvest you reap, but by the seeds you plant" Update 2022 As we come to the end of this year it has been a heartbreaking and painful time. My oldest son passed away on April 7, 2021...this time has been a journey to keep myself in the present! Love those who bless your lives! Many of us have heartbreaking losses and struggle to move forward. I know because I am living it.... An important update to my story! Retired this May, 2024. Will miss very much the students I have guided from toddlers to High Schoolers! I have made heart connections with my Families, providing love to their children💕💕SPED and Special Needs will always have my 💜!! May this journey we are on, be a time of peace and love ..because if the soul is at peace...the Heart can rest!!!🌹❤️🌹
