Mary's Story
Life
Hi All...hope this finds everyone and their loved ones healthy, happy, and enjoying.. ok, here is a down and dirty of my bio so far:
1985-1987, Air Force, Philipppines
1988-1994, Air Force, Scott AFB, IL
Nov 1994, became a civilian; took the incentive money and ran..lol
Been in this area (Southern IL, near St Louis MO for 20 years now.)
Jan 1995 - support working for forms manufacturing co in a sales office St Louis MO (commuter....fun!)
May 1995 - got married
Dec 1997 - my joy, Elizabeth born
Jan 2000 - divorced (it happens, you learn from your mistakes.. :) )
Dec 2001: Step-father, Larry, passes of lung cancer.
Jun 2002: My father passes of bone cancer (I love you dad!).
Jan 2003 - laid off; co restructured and eliminated my position (it happens, you learn.. :) )
Sep 2003 - Found employment; lead secretary for Children's Home + Aid in Belleville IL. Only...Expand for more
10 miles from home and on the IL side--no more commuting - loving it!
Jun 2006 - Start dating a long time friend, Ed.
Dec 2007 - Ed proposed!!! :) :)
Apr 2008: My mother passes from massive stroke/heart attack (I love you and thank you ma!!)
Jul 2008: Ed moves in--even the cat and dog are getting along well... :)
Current: Sep 08, Elizabeth a 5th grader now; she played Khourey League softball for past 2 years; joining the 5th grade band as a trombone player. Growing up very fast...almost 5' and wears size 7 1/2 woman's show!!
Happier than I've ever been...enjoying life one day at a time...finally have the "family" I always wanted; Elizabeth really adores and accepts Ed--good role model for her.
