Mary's Story

Life I have been living in Austin, Texas since 1992. I lived in Corpus Christi for 20 years until my husbands company Southwestern Bell decided that we should live in Austin. It turned out to be a great place to live. I LOVE IT HERE!!!! I have been working for the Field Maintenance Manager of the Austin-Bergstrom International Airport, and before that I worked for the Resident Engineers and Inspectors during the ...Expand for more
construction phase of the new airport.. ( I am now retired).I have two sons, and two precious daughters-in law, 4 darling grand children and 2 cats. I am crazy about Austin and hope to live here for the rest of my life. I am sorry to say that I have lost touch with so many of you all. Now that I am not raising kids I have some time to revive some old relationships. I would love to hear from any of you out there.

This is so true. Not only our grandchildren but our children as well. I start everyday with prayers for all of them!!
Here is the ice we have since last night!! Not alot but bunches of iceles hanging from the trees. Ice all over vehicles. Rare sight to see!!!!
We celebrated our 53rd Anniversary. Not sure what happened but my first post got erased. I feel so blessed that we have made it through this, as we have had some very scarry health issues in our lives. And God has taken car

Our grandson, Ty Hurley, and another guy found it dead. Thank goodness. Now people can go back to shopping at Lowes again. So sorry about the kid that died because of that snake.. So sad!!! Praying for the family!!!

This with chocolate and cupcakes was waiting for us at the back door when we got home from our "Anniversary Date" !!! what a delightful surprise from our sweet daughter-in-law, Raquel !!!
