Mary's Story
My biggest surprise is that I would not do anything different than the life I have lived. I have a wonderful husband of 39 yrs this Dec and we have one son, Jason, who at 36yrs old this wk is going to give us our first grandbaby, YEAH!!
To truly be happy I would be right where I am today, doing the same thing, retired from work after 37 yrs and enjoying being at home with my husband, Charles, who is also retired from Jackson Energy. He has been sick this last yr with cancer, but God has taken care of him and we believe he will be fine and we can enjoy many more yrs together. rved in the Army and had to travel to Vietnam and has never wanted to visit anywhere else. He said the people in the U.S. is so blessed to live in this country. I have traveled a lot to other states, but I always get home sick in 2-3 days. I love being home the older I get.
As far as my friends remembering me I hope they feel like I was a good person, always tried to have a happy face and I hope I was always there for my friends when they needed me. I still have two very close friends that has stayed in contact with me all thru the years, Della House (Casteel) and Ginger Brockman (Isaacs). As you can see, I'm still the same, just can't quit talking!!!!
