Mary Beth's Story
Life As of July 20, 2006 I have had multiple strokes and as of the date of this writing, 1/28/09 have a very limited life expectancy. I also have Alzhiemer's. I do not have a Gold membership so the only way to reach me now is through yah at goldlox52.
I have one son, who is my delight! Michael Orion Jackson, age 31. Motherhood continues to be an interesting and insightful lens! I am divorced, for a good many years now and find being a single woman a positive! Following up on a lifelong interest, I am an artist and poet. I moved to Ft. ches as well as a brief tour of the Midwest in the early 80's. I still consider Iowa my home, though I have not been back to Des Moines since 1969. Maybe someday!
College
Initially, I attended at the University of Texas at Austin from 1970 through 1973. After I married in 1973, I also attended the University of Houston in 1975, later attended Stephen F. Austin State University in Nacogdoches in 1982-1984 where I finally finished my B.F.A.and received Teaching Certification in 1989 from there also. Aside from a year in Galveston and a year in Houston, I have maintained a residence in Nacogdoches County since 1982.
