Mary's Story
I left Riverdale after my Junior year I graduated from Taft High and went on to Taft Junior College where I met my husband Floyd. He joined the Air Force after college and we traveled around the United States and setteled back down in Bakersfield, Ca. where we have been ever since. I have one daughter Tamera. been music and I kept up with that through a group called the Sweet Adalines. They are an international singing organization. I was with them for 12 years. A great experience. My husband is a hunter and since he is retiring this year from teaching I will probably become what is known as a "hunting widow" because of all the time that is spent with the sport.
