Mary's Story
Life
I graduated in 1984 with my nursing degree from University of Delaware. I married Bob Karcha in January of 1985, and moved to Amherst, Massachusetts for 5 years. We moved back to Delaware (between Newark and Wilmington) in 1989, and have lived here ever since. I...Expand for more
work as a pediatric registered nurse at the duPont Hospital for Children here in Wilmington, and Bob is a high school chemistry teacher. We have a daughter, Beth (14), and a son, Jamie(12). (written in 1994)
* Mary died from metastatic breast cancer on May 14, 2007.
