Mary Holzinger:  

Life Joined the military in 1980 and went to "Boot Camp" in Cape May, NJ. Went to California for school and then transferred to New York (Lower Manhattan) to a unit called Governors Island. Met my husband, Ronald there in Sep 1982 and married in March 1983. We transferred to St. Louis, MO where our first daughter (Coral) was born in May 1985. Transferred to Cheboygan, MI in 1986 and our second daughter (Kera) was born in March 1989. Transferred to Kodiak, AK (beautiful little island) and then transferred to California in 1992. Moved from California in 1997 to Florida and have been here since. My husband just retired from U.S. Coast Guard with 25 years of service. He is now currently working in a Civil Service position at same place he retired from...just different uniform. We have been married for 22 years. For myself....put myself through Nursing School here in Florida and passed State Boards first time. What a relief that was!!! Went on to pass the State Boards to received my Basic X-Ray License and currently work in a medical clinic for Merchant Marines. My oldest is a Junior this year at Johnson & Wales University in North Miami. Currently has her Associates Degree in Culinary Arts and is now going for her Bachelors in Restraunt and Business Management. My youngest is a Junior this year at Plantation High School. She currently has NO IDEA of what she wants to do when she graduates. Is kind of leaning towards something in Medical/Forensics....hopefully she will figure it out. Since lea...Expand for more
