Mary's Story

Here is my story. After graduating high school, I attened SMSU in Springfield for a 1 1/2 years, majoring in computer programing, but got sidetracked and Marlin & I married January 14, 1978. We just celebrated our 30th wedding anniversary this year. We have 4 sons, Nick, who lives here in Salem and works for a construction company, Nathan, who is married and lives in Springfield, and works as a computer programmer for ANPAC and his wife Rachel works for the Child Advocacy Center in Springfield as a Forensic Child Advocate. Justin lives in Springfield and attends Ozark Technical College and works for T-Mobile and our youngest, Zach attenda MSU and is majoring in Pre-Med and has already been accepted into the medical program at the University of Missouri-Columbia. I have one grandson, who is Braydon, who lives in Granite City, IL. with Nick's ex-wife, Melissa. I have worked for the City of Salem for 30 1/2 years. I am now the City Clerk and have been for 8 years. I would love to hear from anyone and I have been thinking about plans for our 35th Class Reunion. Mary (Boyle) Happel
