Mary's Story
Life
I retired Dec. 2001 after 21 years at CNN (Atlanta, GA) as the Weekend Production Coordinator.
After leaving CNN, we struggled for a while, had various jobs and worked with several businesses.
In Sept. 2009, we were hit by the "100 Year" flood in Atlanta and we had to leave our home.
It took several months to get it back to living condition and we still have a way to go to get it where we want it,
but we were both out of work at the time....

w weeks later,
both my husband Ted and myself landed contract jobs at The Weather Channel.
Dad had a hand in that one...
Finally got back into broadcasting! So I am now a Broadcast Technician at The Weather Channel.
My husband Ted has retired from a full time job, but still does occassionnal contract work and business from home.
Dealt with some Kidney Stone issues this past summer and Fall, but now doing well and looking forward to next year.
