Mary's Story
The class of 1976 will all recall that I Mary Brabbs married Mark Foster five weeks before our graduation day, and I was involved in a car accident one week before graduation. This accident has really affected my life completely. It left me with some disability that prevented me from ever working. ifteen years, my children helped me recover, at which time I decided that life did not owe me anything, anything I wanted out of life I had to work for it. After coming to this conclusion I started back to college which I completed in four years with a GPA of 3.22. I must say that I also wanted my children to see how important I felt that education was in a persons life.
I received a BA in Sociology with a family emphasis, of which I used raising my children .
