Mary's Story
It took me 56 years, but I finally moved out of Leonia! All the way to Teaneck. Settling in to a new house with enough room for all the children and grandchildren to visit, and stay for as long as they like. Oldest daughter, Jen, is married to a New York City detective, and has three kids, 5, 3 and 2. Michael who is the 2nd oldest got married in June of this year and he and his wife are expecting their first baby in May. I remarried in 2000, and in addition to a really great husband, I got 3 step-children, 26, 24 and 22. So life is pretty busy. Moving, wh...Expand for more
en you're in your 20's is awful, when you're in your 50's, it's just ridiculous! My husband lost his job in September (2 weeks before our closing) and was able to do the majority of the moving of boxes and other small things because he was home. I guess things really do happen for a reason. I think it's time us old folks think about a reunion. It's not like we can wait another 25 years, cause some of us might be too old to care at that point. Would love to hear from anyone from the class of 70, or some of the other classes that were in LHS at the same time.
