Mary's Story

Life Hello there. It's been a long time! Just to fill you in. I have been blessed with a wonderful husband, Tony Battinelli, whom I have been married to for 17 years. We have 3 great kids. I grew up in a household of 8 girls, so having two boys has been an experience. Our boys, Tony Jr (16) and Patrick (13; going on 21!) are true motorheads just like their dad, racing Motocross and snowmobiling. Our daughter Maria is 11 and is an avid horse lover just like her grandfather! My dad bet on them and she rides them (hehe). She has been taking lessons for the past 4.5 years in English style riding and is very comfortable being Dr. Doolitlle. Might I add that she has a voice and a half! She is a great little singer. We are a boating family and are just loving it. Being so close to Long Island Sound is such a gift. Tony Sr. is the biggest fan of the water. I have nicknamed our boat "The other Woman" because he just loves it...Expand for more
. It's actual registered name is Moonstruck Too. We also have an adorable dog named Theo and he just goes with flow. Our household seems to be homebase for many people and turns out to be a party household. I love to throw great parties and they get talked about for a LONG time after. We have an annual costume party in the summer for my husbands birthday that is a real bash and lasts the entire weekend! It falls on July 3rd and lasts for many days. It is like Mardi Gras. The doors never stop swinging with family and friends coming and going and we wouldn't have it any other way. It brings back my childhood because my house was just like that growing up. We live in the Westover area of Stamford in a house that my husband built. Tony and I are parteners as building contractors and have done very well for ourselves. We hope from all of our hard work that our children will be very successful in what ever they choose to do.
