Mary (Mary Beth)'s Story

Life I immigrated to Australia in 1973. I lived in various parts of Melbourne for a year. I met my future husband, Gordon Littlejohn at the skydiving club I worked for. We met on the 15th of December 1974 and were married on February 22, 1975. We have three daughters. Kirsty is 28, married with a baby born on the 30th of April 2005. She and her husband are theatre/entertainment technicians working in lighting, sound and stage managing in theatres and music gigs. Her husband is also a musician in a band, The Ben Smith Band. They now have a recording contract and tour around Australia. Daughter No.2, Megan, is 26 and is a Graphic Designer and has her own company. Megan has returned to university to get her BA in Music Business Management. She is also an accomplished artist & singer. She finishes her course in October 2007 and then will get work doing post production editing. Daughter No. 3, Caroline, is 19 yrs. old and graduated from high school in 2006. She has been on this earth before. Caroline is also very artistic. Caroline is now doing a traineeship for the Dept. of Youth Communities. She is in a steady relationship with a very nice guy. Caroline has now decided to be a Vetreniary Nurse. She will start her studies for that early 2008. My husband is an executive engineer for a large retail firm over here. He is ...Expand for more
in charge of the building of new stores and refitting the old ones. He's the most wonderful, amazing man. Any man who has to live with four females and keeps his sanity and sence of humour is truely a gift from heaven. He has been by my side supporting me during all of my health problems. I am currently unemployed in the mainstream of things. I have my own business "Lavender Lulu". I am concentrating on my artwork at the moment. Sketching, oil pastels and watercolours of birds and sea & landscapes. I also make some interior furnishings on request. My favourite thing in my life, other than spending time with my family, is singing in a contempory choir. We sing ballds, some gospel, soul, world & lots of other kinds of music. I live in a small town northwest of Melbourne now. I love living here in Australia. This is one of the most beautiful places on earth with so many diverse climates and landscapes. We have lots of native wildlife that live in the eucalyptus trees around us. We have migrating Koalas, two different native marsupial possoms, and approx. 15 different species of native birds. We even had a Wallaby (small kangaroo) in the property next door. A Koala has even come down onto our patio railing. All in all I have had and I'm still having a good life and would love to hear from anyone who knew me at school.
