Mary's Story
Life
I have been married for 43 yrs, and my husband & I are both retired and enjoying the simple life - that is what it is suppose to be - we just can't figure out how we did so much when we were working because there is just not a lot of time to do everything we want to do now. We have 5 grown children - all married, and living in other parts of Canada - that being Vancouver, Calgary, Edmonton, Toronto, and one in the Annapolis Valley. We are on the road doing cross country trips and have dipped down into the USA and made longer cross continent trips. also went to St. Pats HS. - and then up to Vancouver and returned home by way of Canada visiting family and good old military friends along the way- back to Dartmouth, NS. where my husband & I have settled (after being on the move for 29 years with the military). No complaints - the military was a good life, and one of our sons is presently an officer in the Canadian Forces. I do try to find old friends, either through this site, or news articles and have been somewhat successful - which after so long a time is really delightful . That's it for me for now.
