Mary's Story
My husband and I recently bought a house in Beaumont, CA (60 & 10 Fwys meet) and are enjoying it. We have 3 children ages 12, 8 and 6. The photo was at Lake Powell - our 2008 summer vacation. Our oldest shares my love of all animals and knack to handle them. She caught a blue belly lizard in our yard that would sit on us and not try to run away! Our rabbit gave us kisses and loved to cuddle with us. I have a passion for the safety of all our children from predators and started a Safe Escape program in Placentia...Expand for more
in 2001. I know of one child we saved in 2006 because of the training. I am currently looking for a clerical job at a school district so that I am off when my children are off school. I also plan to implement a Safe Escape program in Beaumont. I hope my classmates remember me as someone who would help if asked, and was a good friend. It is possible they do not remember me since I was a very shy girl. I didn¿t loose that until I met my husband and was sure of who I was. Today, I am a person I am proud to be.
