Mary's Story
It didn't happen overnight...but 2007 was a very lucky and fortunate year for me!!
I now illustrate and write children's picture books. I had my first book published in December 2007 ~ The Super Heroes Save Christmas My 2nd was published nationally in February 2008, it is entitled, Grandma, What Is Cancer? I will be donating a portion of the proceeds to the Johns Hopkins Breast Center and to the Dream Foundation in memory of my dear Mother and Sister Shirley Daley who attended Patterson and graduated in 1978.(Both died of cancer,my sister in 1998 and my Mom in 2003).
I have 4 other books that will also be published in 2008~Buzz,Baby Duck Gets a New Grandma,It's Okay To Be Just Me!,And The SuperHeroes In:FIND THAT BU...Expand for more

I have also been illustrating for some wonderful women authors as well and all those books have also been published or are about to be published.(ie...Peanut Bunny and the Christmas Lights,The Story Box,Sunday's at Grandmother's House.)

I am also a single Mom to one beautiful daughter. She is growing up fast,no longer the little girl I once held in my arms. She is now 15.and an avid reader,loves to sing,perform and draw. One of her illustrations was recently added to Sunday's at Grandmother's House so that's a really neat thing for a 14 year old.She likes to be in front of the scenes where her Mom preferrs to be behind the scenes! lol...
