and orchards dominated the landscape, not high-tech company campuses. I wanted to be an architect but ended up in mechanical drafting as the first female drafter at Locheed. From there i went into electro/mechanical drafting and eventually into printed circuit design at the dawining of the computer age and beginnings of Silicon Valley. After over 30 years in electronics, I migrated to interior design after completing schooling in the field. About 10 years ago, I started writing stories for young readers - they're mostly based on time travel, as that's one of my favorite subjects.".
