Mary's Story

Well, if you are from Lowell High School and the class of 65 then you know who I am. I married out of high school to my husband Bob Maxson. We were married for six years and I had a wonderful daughter. But the marriage didn't last. He had a job as a mechanic and his bosses wife decided she wanted my husband as a toy on the side and he fell for it. I on the other hand was not happy with this so I ended the marriage. Then I remarried two years later and had a son. That marriage lasted on and off for eight years and after being abused long enough I said no more. But I ended up with two wonderful children. I have been divorced now for over thrity five years. I guess it has been hard for me to trust people anymore. I moved to Michigan fifteen years ago and let me tell you the people out here are not as nice as one would think. I live in a small town called Allegan , MI. And people here do not like outsiders nor do the take kindly to Calif. people or anyone who ever lived in Las Vegas. I mean to tell you people out here if they don't like the tone of your voice they j...Expand for more
ust tell you. Or they think they can tell you how to talk on Facebok. It is the craziest thing I have ever seen. Of course most of these people I have met don't have a bunch of friends either. So that explains that ----right? Well, my daughter moved out here and lives a mile away but I don't get to see her much. Her husband and her are becomming Pastors in a Church and it take all of there time. I have a granddaughter here and I see her quite often and my great granddaughter. As a matter of fact I have seven grandkids and nine great grandkids and another on the way. And that's just from my daughters side of the family. My son has three boys and one is in Afganistan as I speak today 2014. Hoping he will be able to go home at Christmas. The other two boys are just teenagers at this time and they all live in Oregon. I have thought about leaving MI. but no final plans at this time. There might just be someone special in my life right now but I am taking it really really slow. Again you could say I am gun shy. I will update profile as things progress or do not progress.

Happy birthday, Daddy. You would have been 111, and I wish you were still here. You were the guiding light to my life and always tried to shield me for the harm around me. Love and miss you, dad.
