Mary's Story
After High School I went to work at Midwest Federal Savings and Loan downtown Mpls. (Later known as MWF Bank). You know; the bank that went under because our Bank President; Hal Greenwood, and our Commercial lenders decided to give loans out to companies that already owed us money they could not pay back. Hal Greenwood and many VIP's went to Prison for their bad descissons. By the time the bank went under; I was working as the
only Fraud and Forgrery Investigator for all 50 offices nation wide. The Federal Resolution Trust Corporation took over the bank and I went to work for them for the next two years until we were able to. clean out all of the Mpls and St Paul branches ( the round buildings shaped like a tree) and forward all 10,000 boxes that were being stor...Expand for more

After that I went to work for the Federal Reserve Bank (downtown Mpls) in the Securities Department for 15+ years. I am still considered an employee of the FRB Mpls., however, I have been on Long Term Disability for the last 22 years due to a serious car accident. Our daughter was only 19 months at the time. She was not hurt, but my husband and I have not been able to go back to work since then. On the bright side, we were able to be there for our daughter when she was growing up and my husband and I even taught "Advanced Math" classes that our daughter was in when she was in elementary school. She is in 9th grade now and is 14 years old.
Time goes by so quickly, What have all of you been up to.
