Mary's Story
Hello Pedro Pirates, It has been a long time since graduation .Summer 1970. Wow... My maiden name Mary Fiamengo. Dated John Gilbert all of high school and later married him. We had one daughter which gave us two beautiful granddaughters which are now in San Pedro High. One year apart in age. Three generations of Pirates as of today. When I was there, I was super shy,and somewhat an introvert... Many thought I was a bit strange, and maybe I was. I went to two of the class reunions and have't been going since. ssed three years ago. He got bladder cancer, fought like hell to survive it,but after fighting the good fight It took him. He had Larry White,Sonny, Nick Matich,
and his 'Coachman' friends there daily. He is survived by his over 34 year marriage wife, Diane. His beautiful daughter Brandi and his oh-so-smart son,Jonathon. Brandi gave Matt and Diane two grandchildren Sidney and Pasley, who he adored. Jonathan could be a educator at S.P.High,but he chose to be a teacher's aide at San Pedro High because he too has problems with not beng out-going and also shy. He takes after me.
