Mary's Story
When I graduated High School, I finished Cosmetology, and went to work in the area. When I saved enough
money to buy a car, I went to work in Columbia. I married in 1975, and had my daughter in 1984. After 25 years
of marriage, I got a divorce, and bought a Townhouse in Broadfield, in Catonsville. I have worked at Charlestown
Retirement Community, as a hairdresser for 20 years...Expand for more
, and I still love it there. The older generation are so much
more appreciative than my own generation. So, now I could walk to work, if I choose to! It's great not having to
fill my gas tank for 2-3 weeks at a time! ..Most people from school remember me as being shy and quiet, but I
have broken out of my shell, and I am comfortable in my own skin. There you have it.........
