Mary's Story
I have been married 42yrs to Jim my special guy since I was 17. Have 2 children 38 and 40 and a grandson 20. Jim and I started the Tender Hearts in 1977 and are still running it we help 100s of people each holiday with food baskets and have a shop where you can get clothes starting at 25cents. we are all voluteers there are 15 if us that work there. I recently purchased a 1965 Thunderbird for myself and I show it--it is still being fixed up which is half the fun, I'm even painting it--love it. always someone that needs help and I am here to do that. I went from high school to nursing school got my LPN degree worked about 10 years had to give it up due to health issues. Lots more happening but it has been over 40 years. So what have you been doing?
Started and still run the Tender Hearts Association doing that for 33 years. Have been married 43 years 2 children i grandson-had triple bypass surgery have just gotten out of hospital June 21 from heart attack have more time to check the computer now while resting {ha ha}.
