Mary's Story

My grandson has started raising both Nubian and Boer goats and I am helping him with that also. My sheep are sold as registered breeding stock, commercial breeding s...Expand for more
tock, and market lamb. I have Great Pyrenese (livestock guardian dogs) and Border Collies (herding dogs) as well as my grandchildren to help me in running the farm. In addition, we raise a lot of our own fruits and vegetables and have chickens and geese for our own egg supply. I love it!! This is by far the best part of my life!

Here's a photo of my new addition to the barn and flock.  Millhouse came from WI.  Michele brought him for me to the annual meeting and then trucked back a ram lamb that I was selling to some folks in Iowa.

Two new Pyrs on the farm -- Annie and Poulet.  Their photo was taken shortly after I got them home.
In memory of Bud, almost 14 years.  May God love him as much as I did.
Took this photo of the Bee Balm (Oswego Tea) this a.m.  Love watching the hummingbirds when they come to harvest the nectar.
