Mary's Story
Life
The short version: CHS to YSU to NW Ohio to Northern IN, and now in Central Indiana. Married, 3 kids ... Brad, Steph & Joe. Divorced after 18 years ... remarried in 2006. I now have The Brady Bunch plus One. Total of 7 kids ... 4 from Mike's previous marriage. 4 girls and 3 boys collectively. Mike also has a grandson 5 years old and I have a grandson born in April 2006. We just moved to Goshen in July 08 and miss the kids greatly!
As far as career, I call myself retired. We've done, and continue to do our share of traveling to Mexico, California, Vegas, Chicago, Denver, Florida ... I played soccer, 2008 was my 10th and last year due to the move. "Soccer Mom" has a whole new meaning when you're on the field instead of just watching. lol - Mike and I enjoy golfing, we've both have had a hole in one, he's actually good ... I just have fun & lots luck. Besides golf & soccer I enjoy... working on and around the house, reading, painting, cooking, gardening, refinishing furniture, ping pong, hosting cookouts, and always till the day I die, dancing. My parents are doing well and are still living in Canfield, same house. I can be reached at Itsbutterhere on a server that begins with A, has a second vowel, and ends with L. Update 4/07/2010: As of January 2010, we have a new puppy Mac. He's a BIG baby Mastiff and will get to 200 lbs. Also new, new news 4/2010... we are once again moving. Now we're headed to the Indianapolis area. Mike just accepted a job offer from Firestone as Manager of Product Development heading the PHD's. Contact information, email & cell phone should remain the same, but address will surely change. : ) Hugs

Update 1/4/2011: We moved to a one street town in Indiana. There are 10 houses in our town and the last published population was 22. It is a wonderful place. The monster puppy is doing well... 145lbs and only 10 months left to grow. Mike's job is going well also. We had a new grandson born on tax day so that makes 3. Sadly to say, my father lost his battle with cancer in December 2010. Mom is hanging in there and doing ok.

Update 10/12/2011: As of today, I am the Mayor of the smallest town in Indiana. Funny, government was never my favorite subject in school. The bulk of my duties include staying on budget, negotiating contracts for police, fire, snow removal services, filling out the multiple state reports and land surveys, organizing events, and enforcing our town ordinances. Lets hope everyone is good for the next couple years!

3/23/2012: The town is doing very well. We finished 2011 in the black!
On the kid front: Tyler, TJ and kids are doing fine. Mara graduated from Toledo in December and Gretchen is due to finish in May. Blake is in the Navy and finished at the top of his class. He is in Florida waiting to be deployed. Brad is doing well in BG and Joe is working and going to school in Toledo. Last but not least, Stephanie & Munchkin Tyler just moved back out ... (was that all 7)... so we are on the home improvement train. Contractors are starting the day after Easter and the painter is here as I type. Oh - and Mac, the monster dog... he's great! Although, he did eat my bedroom door when I was out of town last time. Never a dull moment! :)

Update 3/19/2014: Evidently I missed a year, so 2013 must have passed quickly. :)
Shorts I forgot to share: I was reelected for another 2 year term; Joe went into the Navy - Nuclear. Stephanie is pregnant and due in late May (another boy); Mara is getting married in September; Blake is done with his deployment. Brad, Tyler, Gretchen and Mac are all doing well; Home improvements are continuing and travels were Miami and Vegas. We also joined the country club so there was plenty of golf last summer. Joe also had his first hole in one.

Update 10/2015: It was a busy start to the year with traveling during the first 3 months - Florida, New Orleans, and back to Florida, and the majority of April was spent in Michigan. Sadly, Mike's father Gordy passed away. May held a visit to Canfield to spend some time with my mom and in June we were able to stay at home but had a fun visit from Blake the youngest of the crew. He is now out of the Navy and attending BG in Ohio. Joe also came to visit for 5 days and play in our club invitational. Wedding planning, dress fittings, and everything under the sun occupied July, August, and September! Add in hosting 2 town meetings (picnic & ice cream social), elections, organizing a town garage sale, having the street repaved and securing contracts with outside town services - I thought I might lose my mind! lol All things were accomplished and the wedding in early October was beautiful!
Joe & Lauren are living in upstate NY and just got a new shepherd/lab puppy, Hank. Steph, Joe, Tyler and Jesse are doing well; Brad is still in AZ; Tyler, TJ, Eathan, and Thomas had a new addition to the family (we finally have a girl) Mila! Gretchen is doing another year in Afghanistan; Mara & Eric are in Toledo always making their own adventures, and as I said, Blake is back in school.
It doesn't stop here! lol I was reelected for another term and was recently informed there is a strong possibility we will be moving to Nashville, Tennessee in 2017. NEVER A DULL MOMENT!!!
