Damjana's Story
Writing a book would be a way more appropriate then trying to put my life in few sentences......but will try.
I have graduated from Berkeley Springs High School in 1988, returned home to city of Sarajevo (former Yugoslavia). Enroled in University (major in English Language and Literature - go figure), started great part time job as interpreter.....when war erupted, in 1991. Then, few years spent as a war refugee in Serbia and finaly, at the beginnig of 1999 immigrated to Canada! One of the best days of my life!
Today, living a happy life in Toronto, found lots of my "lost" friends from back home also living here........have a good job in the biggest Canadian wireless company......life is good! It always has been with "a little" ups and downs.
What I have learned that even bad things come to an end and what a blessing that is :)
